The purpose of this 3- hour course is to deepen the understanding of the biomechanics of the Upper body, including improving palpation and adjusting skills, awareness of when and where to adjust, muscle joint relationships, posture component, muscle balance and how these relate to symptom presentation.
This course is designed to help the practitioner predict fixations based on common postural dysfunctions, provide hands on skills for assessing and adjusting those fixations to remove any neurological misinformation and improve joint motion. This course provides specific exercises to re-balance the muscles which can help the patient manage their symptoms as well as reduce re-occurrence of symptoms.
The class will cover anatomy, muscle function (proper function and common dysfunctions), as well as neurologic and biomechanical effects of treatments. A variety of adjustments for each area will be demonstrated and practiced (bring portable tables and speeder boards). This course will also provide a different perspective around when and where to adjust, complete treatment for each area listed above, to maximize patients’ response to your care.
