The purpose of this course is for Chiropractic providers to learn about the risk factors for tick-borne disease, disease epidemiology, the tick life cycle, disease burdens, Lyme disease stages, signs of Lyme disease, human immune response, Lyme carditis, and much more. Possible treatment options for Lyme disease and diagnostic tools used to identify Lyme disease are reviewed.
