Course Description

This course discusses tumors of the central nervous system (CNS) and their causes. Hereditary disorders, such as neurofibromatosis, von Hippel-Lindau disease, and others are discussed including and environmental impacts that can cause central nervous system tumors. Signs and symptoms of a potential spinal or brain tumor are discussed; including the impact these tumors have on the other structures throughout the body. Awareness of these CNS tumor signs and symptoms are crucial to help patients in the event they are expressed during a chiropractic appointment. Upon completion of the course, the chiropractor will be able to identify signs and symptoms of a potential central nervous system tumor.
