Traction: Evidence-based approach to Lumbar and Cervical Radiculopathy
By: Best Practices Academy

Course Description

Traction therapy has been used in health care as a modality for centuries. Research over the past decade has demonstrated mixed reviews due to study design of its effectiveness – until now. Learn about the evidence behind traction and its effect on cervical and lumbar radiculopathy and how you can provide a treatment approach in-office that incorporates traction “on the move” using a Portable Decompression Device. Upon completion of this seminar, participants are expected to be able to: 1. Learn clinical examination procedures for lumbar and cervical radiculopathy 2. Review the literature on the therapeutic effectiveness of traction 3. Understand the dynamics leading to effectiveness in treating disc lesions with traction and traction with motion using a portable decompressive device
