Flexibility is an important adjunct to regain or maintain optimal health. Prevention of postural problems and injuries to joints should be a priority. Stretching your clients has many benefits. In addition to adjustments, you will be able to help your clients regain postural control of specific muscles that might be creating chronic musculoskeletal disorders, spasms or strains. Healthier muscles result in increased range of motion, improved circulation, greater postural control and optimal performance.
This hands-on course will include different stretching techniques such as Active Isolated Stretching, stretching with a stretch strap, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitative (PNF), breathing techniques, traction techniques, as well as static and dynamic stretching.
