Sports Concussion and Vestibular Rehab

Course Description

The purpose of this webinar is to compare military mTBI with sports related mTBI with an emphasis on the nature and dangers of football targeting. A brief review of the Glasgow Coma Scale following a mTBI will point towards the need for follow-up Vestibular Rehabilitation and its associated components including testing for gait, ambulation, static and dynamic balance as well as quantitative vestibular testing.

Learning objectives:

1. Recognize and understand the causes and symptoms of mTBI

2. Explain how to apply both the Glasgow Coma Scale and the SCAT-5 Questionnaire

3. Discuss the various techniques of applied Vestibular Rehab
