Reflexology-The Roth Method
By: Institute for Continuing Education

Course Description

The bottom of your feet has more sensitive nerve endings per square centimeter than any other part of the body. Over 7,000 nerve endings in each foot are worked during a reflexology session.

The practice of foot work goes back several thousand years in a variety of cultures throughout history in different ages, and in geographical regions far removed from each other.

Reflexology is a method for activating the healing power of the body known as ”homeostasis.” This is the ongoing physiological process that tells all the body systems that everything is functioning at optimal levels. Reflexology affects homeostasis by way of thumb and finger pressures performed in a sequence to take the body into a state of complete relaxation.

During this great day of footwork, you will learn the actual method that will have your clients/patients leave with a state of well-being they have not experienced before. Dr. Roth will demonstrate and students will perform reflexology techniques on each other.
