Course Description

This 12 hour presentation covers phases of aging and care options from a case/patient management aspect. We will look at conditions and treatment options from a medico legal aspect to a practical approach of how and what chiropractic care may benefit these individuals. This seminar will cover adjusting styles with protocols and safety issues related to caring for patients as they become older. This seminar will look at issues surrounding and conditions associated to aging, such as fall prevention to arthritis and osteoporosis to just name a few. We will look at possible complications from a neurological aspect as well as nutritional and structural. We will also look at diet and appropriate exercises from conditioning to maintenance, including preventative types of exercises A variety of conditions with their associate possible complications related to aging will be reviewed. Course includes 2 hours of Record Keeping.
