This course will teach the physician how to diagnose and treat myofascial trigger points of the cervical and thoracic spine. Topics such as the neurology and phyiology of a trigger point, anatomy and proper biomechanics of the cerival, thoracic and shoulder girdle musculature. An in depth look on how to identify and treat these muscles using ischemic compression as well as strain/counter-strain techniques will be covered.
