This course will define and give a history of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization and massage techniques. Treatment overview and goals will be discussed as will contraindications. Hands-on practice of strokes using a stainless steel tool will be part of the course—performed on back, neck, arms and legs. The tool used for this class is an versatile all-in-one stainless steel tool from Edge Mobility used for IASTM. An $80 value, it is much more affordable than what some of the bigger name IASTM companies charge for their tools.
