Course Description

Join Dr. Scott Bautch for a webinar examining how doctors of chiropractic can keep their patients active, adaptive, and healthy at home through ergonomics during the COVID-19 pandemic. This course will help doctors of chiropractic to better understand the unique challenges of working and studying from home. This will include reviewing mechanical ergonomics versus human ergonomics; discussing the unique challenges of working from home, such as workstation design with limited resources and lack of mobility; designing a home care program for people working and studying from home; and reviewing what early data is saying about the health effects of working from home both physically and emotionally. 


Learning Objectives

- Examine the difference between mechanical ergonomics and human economics. 

- Discuss both in office and home strategies for patients working and studying from home. 

- Review micro breaks and their benefits, macro breaks and their benefits and motion strategies and their benefits in relationship to their patients and community. 

- Understand the unique challenges of virtual learning and virtual working from home.
