Completion of this training course updates licensed FMCSA Certified Medical Examiners DCs, MDs, DOs, PAs, ANPs and NPs on the current procedures and medical standards and guidelines used in the FMCSA Drivers of Commercial vehicles medical examination and driver certification. Learn the current FMCSA Medical Standards, Advisory Criteria, Guidelines, exemptions and how to apply them to determine correct driving status. The last 2 hours is a training course on how to perform the FAA BasicMed Medical Exam for private pilots. Those that complete this course receive a PACE Accredited Certificate of Completion see below. Course Duration: 12 hours Note: This course can not be used to fulfill the FMCSA 5 year refresher training requirement! Note: DCs can not perform the FMCSA Driver Medical Exams in the States of New York, Michigan, and Washington.
