Faulty Movement Patterns
By: Maryland Chiropractic Association

Course Description

Dr. Liebenson teaches how to evaluate a patient’s movement patterns, detect faulty patterns, and create programs to correct specific functional abnormalities.

When an injury occurs, the body adapts, resulting in faulty biomechanics. In this 10-hour series, Dr. Liebenson teaches how to detect and correct faulty movement patterns contributing to patient complaints and less-than-optimum performance.

Learning Objectives

The participant will be able to differentiate between proper and improper muscle balance during locomotion and diagnose functional pathology. In addition, they will be able to explain how and why faulty movement patterns occur, prescribe exercises designed to correct them and teach patients how to perform them.
