NJ Chiropractors are required to complete a minimum of 2 credits of ethics or recordkeeping and documentation each biennial license renewal period.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to:
Understand basic concepts of healthcare professional ethics
Recognize an ethical situation and/or professional misconduct
Evaluate real-life examples of ethical situations and apply principles of ethical decision-making to those situations
Consider effects of unethical behavior on patient or practitioner
Understand when and how to report unethical behavior and to whom
Understand basic healthcare laws and regulations today
Comprehend the legal and ethical benefits of good recordkeeping
