We’ve all heard it! “It’s OK to visit a chiropractor, but don’t let them touch your neck!”
Fear mongering is real and pervasive in the medical world. This hour will review the
issues related to stroke and discuss what DCs can do to combat the massive
misinformation. At the same time, we will discuss the clinical implementation of
strategies to identify patients who are high risk, in order to lessen the chances of an
event occurring related to your care. Attendees will also participate in clinical vignettes
and discuss how to respond to real-life situations. The lecture will include specific action
steps for the DC to implement Monday morning.
