Blood Flow Restriction Training for Rehabilitation and Performance
By: DConline

Course Description

The University of Western States and DConline introduces Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training using a distance-based, evidence guided format. BFR is the application of restricting blood flow into an extremity to a level where physiology is leveraged to enable patients to make greater strength gains for both rehabilitation and sports performance outcomes. Evidence indicates that BFR can provide a unique, beneficial mode of exercise in clinical settings. The course guides the clinician through the physiology, indications, contraindications, and applications of BFR in clinical practice.
