Course Description

The Advanced Chiropractic Billing & Coding Seminar is an eight-hour live lecture specifically designed for chiropractors. The purpose of this seminar is to effectively train and update the ethical protocols for insurance billing skills and procedures. Advanced focused support for evaluation and case management-specific documentation for patient case records will be reviewed in detail strengthening attendees’ knowledge of proper ICD-10 coding, and CPT. This program will focus on compliance to train and develop a credible systematic approach to support their documentation of all portions of a healthcare record that includes and is not limited to the dimension of quality control. These dimensions are: 1) the structure, which represents the attributes of settings where care is delivered; 2) the ethical process, or whether or not good healthcare practices are followed; and 3) the outcome, which is the impact of the care on health status. Key topics that will be covered in the course include the protocols for health insurance, Medicare, personal injury, workers’ compensation, and Veterans Administration
