THIS COURSE PRIMARILY UTILIZES CONCEPTS FROM:

· KAPANDJI: THE PHYSIOLOGY OF THE JOINTS [3 VOLUME SET]

· GRAY’S AND CUNNINGHAM’S ANATOMY

· WARFEL’S: THE EXTREMITIES; HEAD, NECK AND TRUNK

HOUR 1:JOINT MOVEMENT CAPABILITIES: DISTRACTION, COMPRESSION, CREEP, GLIDE, RIGHT AND LEFT FLEXION, FLEXION AND EXTENSION; CARTILAGE, SYNOVIUM, BURSAE

HOUR 2: MENINGES, CSF, ATTACHMENTS: IMPLICATIONS OF JOINT FLEXIBILITY AND BONE MOVEMENTS AFFECTING PRESSURE ON THE BRAIN

GANGLION IMPAR, FILUM TERMINALE, CAUDA EQUINA

HOURS 3-6:UPPER EXTREMITIES: SHOULDER GIRDLE, ELBOW, WRIST, HAND, FINGERS

HOURS 7-10:LOWER EXTREMITIES: HIP, KNEE, ANKLE, FOOT, TOES

HOURS 11-14:VERTEBRAE: CERVICAL, THORACIC, LUMBAR, SACRUM, COCCYX

HOUR 15: PELVIS

HOUR 16:SKULL: SUTURES, TMJ, TOOTH SOCKETS, OSSICLES
