Using computer assisted methods Dr. Wiegand developed a coherent spinal model that describes an optimum spine, an organized spine in ideal compensation and a disorganized spine with subluxation. Fundamental and advanced concepts on spinal biomechanics are introduced by presenting a coherent spinal model describing normal segmental coupling, regional adaptation and global compensation.
