This course is designed to give any doctor the tools they need to identify and diagnose common myofascial pain syndromes. This is done using functional testing, trigger point maps, and overuse movements. Further, doctors will learn how to treat these myofascial problems using lacrosse balls, foam rollers, mobility bands, and voodoo floss. This type of treatment helps the doctor know what to tell the patient to do at home to treat the problem themselves. This course is ideally suited for the doctor who sees high intensity training clients e.g. CrossFit, so the doctor can understand the patient's problem and give at-home care to slow, stop, and reverse the overuse injury process.
