Course Objectives: This course will explore opportunities presented by an expanded model of integrative care for improving spine care, specifically, the management of back and neck pain and related disability. This course will explore imaging techniques and pathologies of the coccyx and ankle. Additionally, other interesting cases will be reviewed. The purpose of this course is to inform the attendee of the latest evidence related to advances and controversial topics in nutrition. This program will be a basic primer involving sexual boundaries for health care professionals, with an emphasis on chiropractors. Insight into the obvious and not so obvious boundary problems that have to be addressed and a brief overview of the higher levels of complaints against chiropractors compared to other health fields will be presented. Included will be discussion on minimizing the chances of having to defend against a boundary complaint. There will be discussion of the medical/legal implications of a boundary complaint, involving potential civil litigation, criminal prosecution and defending a State Regulatory Board Accusation.
