Program Description: This session provides an overview on the principles, practices, nomenclature, patient work-up and management of infectious diseases, conditions requiring emergent care that may present to an internal disorders office. Program Goals / Objectives: At the end of the session, the student will have a detailed understanding of:  Fevers  Bacterial infections  Viral infections  Parasitic infections  Mycobacterial infections  Cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, renal, urinary and pediatric emergencies
