Course Description

This one hour course is an introduction into the online/on-demand pain management program, which provides a systematic, non-pharmacological approach to pain management; ranging from opioid screening to hands-on clinical approaches in the care of the chronic pain patient. This course introduces chiropractors to an evidence-based approach using present day neurophysiological principles for pain management including: manipulative techniques, therapeutic exercise activities, the use of acupuncture needle and non-needle techniques, electrotherapy, laser, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, and manual soft tissue methods.
