Course Description

The primary objective of M1 is to develop an understanding of Graston Technique® therapy GT and how to apply it into the full spectrum of musculoskeletal treatment approaches. The course instructs clinicians on the proper use of the instruments. M1 participants must be fully licensed professionals who possess a well-developed working knowledge of the human neuromusculoskeletal system and its major structures. A review of the anatomical structures of the spine, and upper and lower extremities is most appropriate prior to attending the course. Prior experience with manual therapy and manual soft tissue mobilization techniques are helpful. M1-Basic Training is multi-disciplinary and is available to Certified Athletic Trainers, Acupuncturists, Physical Therapists and Assistants, Occupational Therapists and Assistants, Massage Therapists, Doctors of Chiropractic and Physicians.
