Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound of the Shoulder: Live Demonstration and Case Discussion With Dr. Melinda Novak Course Details: This one-hour presentation will include an introduction to diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging of the shoulder. There will be a brief discussion of the indications for a diagnostic ultrasound examination, a live demonstration of a shoulder ultrasound, and a brief presentation of interesting cases. Learning Objectives/Goals: -Become familiar with the indications for diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound of the shoulder. -Be aware of the basic components of a shoulder ultrasound examination. -Recognize some of the basic pathologies found in the shoulder during an ultrasound examination.
