Course Description

Overview: The purpose of this program is to help chiropractors and those in training determine if a disc is involved with their patient’s condition. Emphasis will be placed on the interpretation of assessment findings and how to correlate this information with historical data. Treatment options will be discussed and demonstrated. Objectives: By the end of the program, the attendee will be able to: • understand the fundamentals of cervical and lumbar disc mechanics • understand current concepts of pain classification and associated pathologies • perform an assessment of the cervical and lumbar spine regions to determine if a disc is involved with their patient’s condition • understand the different treatment approaches for cervical & lumbar spine discs
