Course Description

Treating young athletes comes with the territory of being a pediatric chiropractor. Unfortunately, they are not just tiny adults. The pediatric chiropractor should be aware of the common sports injuries that they could encounter and be mindful of how they should treat pediatric athletes different than adults. In this session, participants will: Recognize the difference between pediatric athletes and adults Identify common pediatric sports injuries and their significance Discover clinical pearls to treatment Assess the pediatric athlete for potential deficits to prevent injuries from occurring.
