While acute inflammation is our body’s natural response to protect and repair, chronic inflammation has no therapeutic benefit and creates a cascade of dysfunction, impedes performance and inhibits recovery. This seminar will provide the clinician methods to address the underlying causes of inflammation, including nutrient reserve depletion, mitochondrial derailment, and gastrointestinal imbalances.   2. Recognize the necessity of a nutritional recovery strategy for optimal performance.
  3. Review Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) and the Brain/Gut Connection.
