Level II: Advanced IASTM - Columbus GA - June 14th, 2020

    This 8-hour course builds on the principles covered in the introductory IASTM course. Using a case-study lab-focused teaching format, advanced treatment strokes are introduced and problem solving skills are emphasized. This course includes the utilization of motion with IASTM and multi regional treatment concepts. Attendance of an introductory course, at least 8 hours in length, is mandatory before attending this course.

    This course is approved for up to 12 CEUs.

    InstructorDr. Chris Capilli, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, MS
    About the InstructorDr. Capilli, originally from Syracuse, NY, received his undergraduate degree in sports medicine from Canisius College, followed by his master’s degrees in physical therapy from D’Youville College. He then began working in an outpatient orthopedic setting at Guthrie Medical Group in Sayre, PA. From there, Dr. Capilli returned to D’Youville College part-time to earn his doctoral degree, while completing his fellowship training in manual therapy from Daemen College under the mentorship of Dr. Ron Schenck. Dr. Capilli has been a physical therapist for more than 10 years, working entirely in outpatient orthopedic settings. His continuing education has been vast and diverse, respecting different viewpoints and methodologies.
