Sports Injuries 386: Shoulder Muscle Injuries

    Course Description: Shoulder injuries are common among athletes of all ages, levels and sports. The shoulder is a complex structure with numerous muscles and tendons. This two hour class covers mechanism of injury, contributing factors, symptoms, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries to the deltoid, pectoralis major, pectoralis minor, trapezius, latissimus dorsi & teres major muscles. The class describes in-office chiropractic treatment and contains patient education for the prevention and rehabilitation of shoulder muscle injuries.

    Course Outline: 

    • Detailed description of shoulder muscle injuries.
    • In-office chiropractic diagnostic techniques and treatment tools.
    • Strategies for prevention and rehabilitation of shoulder muscle injuries.
    • Tools to improve patient education.

    • Diagram how to correctly diagnose and treat shoulder conditions.
    • Apply skills in management of sports injuries.

    About the InstructorDonald A. Ozello, DC graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1995. He is the owner and treating doctor at Championship Chiropractic in Las Vegas, Nevada.
