This 8-hour course is approved for 8 CEUs for massage therapists (other than New York State), for NJ chiropractors and for athletic trainers.  This is a foundational class that will cover the methodology and history of cupping, including benefits, contraindications and an explanation of how cupping uses the body’s largest organ (the skin) to detox and heal.  The course will be part lecture, part hands-on practice. Students will cup and be cupped. The hands-on practice portion of the course will include silicone cupping on the back, knee and shoulder as well as facial cupping.

Students should bring: fitted bed sheet or massage table sheet, flat sheet for draping and a bath towel.  Dress comfortably. Massage tables and cupping equipment will be provided.
