Clinical Acupuncture Certificate Program - 62104

The 200 hour program is a blend of lecture presentations, supervised practical lab work, self study assignments and assessments covering study areas ranging from common sports injuries and the treatment of musculoskeletal syndromes to acupuncture diagnostics and adjunctive therapies. Participants will gain a better understanding of treatment strategies to achieve greater patient outcomes.

The practical labs delivered in CMCC's fully equipped technique rooms are supported by experienced course instructors providing individualized attention.

About the InstructorDr. Kwong Chiu is the Coordinator of Clinical Acupuncture Program and Assistant Clinical Professor at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He was previously a contributor to the Naturopathic Board Exams in Clinical Acupuncture and was later Associate Professor and Head of the Asian Medicine Department at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. After earning an undergraduate degree in Science at York University, he completed the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. He then went on to study acupuncture in Hong Kong, China, USA and Canada.
