  • The ability for chiropractors to function as independent professionals requires we maintain the public trust. The fiduciary relationship that exists with patients must be protected—this is accomplished via through understanding of professional boundaries to which we should adhere. Additionally, we must remain above reproach and remain within ethical and legal boundaries when dealing with this insurance industry. Both of these topics are explored. All professionals are awarded a degree of trust because they are required to maintain high ethical standards. This course explores the nature of ethics and how it is employed in the health care environment by professionals who serve the public.
