Case Management, Diagnosis

  • Board Restrictions note: Co-sponsored courses may not be eligible for CE in Tennessee; Credit calculations may vary for New Mexico approval
  • This is the Case Management, Diagnosis & Billing – The Basics class. This class will be going over how to appropriately diagnose each patient after the first examination and how the diagnosis should and will change and be updated. As it is being updated how we make sure to point our diagnosis to each service appropriately. Each patient is individually different for which we have designed a process of diagnosing to cover most of the differences and to enhance our understanding of the diagnosis and where we go from here. This understanding can be gleaned from a review of the healing and repair cycles. Once we have evaluated the patient and we have diagnosed the patient; it is now time to set up a reasonable plan with proper treatment objectives. All guidelines are set from a federal standpoint and a state-to-state stand point which lends us to make sure we understand our state and federal guidelines. After knowing where to find out state and federal guidelines we can then apply that info to which services we can provide, bill and collect for. Each of the procedures taught throughout the Pettibon System will be analyzed for which codes to use and for which instance.

    Pettibon Institute

The Pettibon Institute, a non-profit research and educational organization founded by Dr. Burl Pettibon in 1981, is dedicated to research that supports The Pettibon System's efficacy and provides the evidence-based courses that spread the practice of proven spine and posture correction and advance The Pettibon Rehab System.

Ask Pettibon practitioners what started the transformation of their practice and most will say it was their first course on The Pettibon System. The consistent reaction is how the science, logic, and compelling proof make it impossible to go back to conventional chiropractic. Many health care providers who take a Pettibon Institute course for instruction in a specific area find it to be an invaluable tool for getting patients out of pain and on their way to structural correction.

Pettibon Institute offers online, webinar and instructor-led courses that train practitioners in Pettibon Rehab System procedures, product use and implementation, as well as advanced trainings. Take courses through The Pettibon Institute at any time. For complete course catalog and current schedule, visit our Education page. Many thought they knew Pettibon before taking a class through the Institute and discovered they had only scratched the surface with other training organizations.
